Henderson is still the "Hovis" of the garage door market. If people know one garage door brand name, it's Henderson. Founded in 1921, they have over 3 million doors on peoples' garages up and down the country. The company have changed hands over the years and look set to change once again.
In the mid 1990's Henderson absorbed the Birtley range of garage doors, the styles of which are still available in the Castle range of Henderson doors.
Henderson garage doors offer the biggest range of standard and made-to-measure steel up and over doors on the market today. Doors as small as 6ft x 6ft or as large as 16ft x 8ft high can be made at their highly automated factory in County Durham. Doors can come in primer or fully finished in a range of colours.
Henderson invented the optimizer lifting gear, which gives the benefits of the canopy door (i.e. quick installation, no permanent tracks hanging from the ceiling and maximum drive through width) with the added benefit of also being suitable for remote control operation.
Henderson's latest product is the Henderson G30 Sectional door. Designed and made in Sweden, it is fully insulated, offers high security and is available in a number of styles. The G30 has a 10 year manufacturer's guarantee.
